POP UP ART ASIA

The Pop Up art tour project is a platform for collaboration with local artists throughout Asia. It is something fresh and fun for people to get involved and engaged in. I feel that some cities in Asia are really calling out for something like this.

With one artist/curator and one camera person, we'll be filming the tour, exhibitions, interviews of the artists, curators and the general public. At the end of this year we will have a screening of the film and invite some of the artists involved to come/show some of their work at Top Shelf Gallery in Melbourne.

We hope to inspire other artists to engage and mix with artists from different countries, learn from them and share experiences. Not to be discouraged by a lack of time and money. Art has the potential to unite people. I have found that there is no reason we can't do something good. I feel this idea has a lot of potential to grow.
